Custom Order - Skin Base

This is the made-to-measure route for skin bases: a custom-built system where you choose the base thickness, size, contour, density, hair length, and colour — built from scratch to your template.

Best for: wearers who already know skin bases suit them and want the fit dialled in exactly. New to skin systems? Start with the free 20-minute consultation or a stock skin system — stock ships in 2–3 days and tells you quickly whether the base type works for your skin and routine.

The base: skin (polyurethane) in thicknesses from 0.06 to 0.14 mm, hand-ventilated with 100% human hair. The honest trade-off: the thinner the base, the more invisible it sits — and the shorter it lives. Our thinnest bases typically last 4–6 months with daily wear; thicker skin trades a little subtlety for durability. We'll help you pick the right point on that line.

How ordering works: place the order, then send us your template, a hair sample cut from the back of your head for colour matching, and a few photos of your current hair. We confirm the full spec with you before production begins — nothing is built until you've signed off.

Timeline: custom builds take 3–4 weeks from confirmed spec to dispatch. Many wearers keep a stock unit in rotation so there's never a gap.
