Removal steps
- Locate an edge where you can begin without stretching the base. For many systems, starting at the back helps keep the front hairline controlled.
- Apply remover along the bonded edge and allow it enough time to soften the adhesive. Add more only as needed.
- Lift a small section while supporting the base with your other hand. If you feel resistance, stop and apply more remover rather than pulling.
- Continue gradually across the attachment area until the system releases.
- Place the system base-up on a clean surface before beginning residue cleanup.
Clean the scalp and system
Remove remaining residue gently, then cleanse and rinse the scalp. Clean the system according to its base type; delicate lace and thin skin need less pressure than more robust bases. Avoid scraping, aggressive rubbing, or folding the base.
