Micro Skin

The Micro Skin is the system most men end up living with: thin enough to disappear against the scalp, forgiving enough to wear every day without babying it. Its ultra-soft 0.06 mm transparent poly base conforms to the head and vanishes at the skin, while V-looped hair creates a knot-free root effect that holds up at close range and on camera.

Best for: everyday wearers who want close-range realism with a manageable routine — the sweet spot between the ultra-thin Nano Skin and the heavier-duty bases.

Construction: every strand is V-looped — pulled through the base, turned, and brought back up — so there is no knot at the root and nothing to bleach. The system ships as an 8 × 10 in trim-to-fit base (down to about 7.5 in front-to-back if needed) with 100% Indian human hair at 5 in (12.7 cm), a natural 30 mm body wave, freestyle direction, and a light/medium 100% density.

Hairline: the CC curved front contour blends predictably, and with no visible knots the hairline and part lines stay clean without bleach.

Durability: expect 4–6 months of wear; many wearers keep 2 to 3 units a year in rotation so one is always ready while another is serviced.

Maintenance: the smooth, non-porous base bonds securely with tape or liquid adhesive and releases residue in minutes. Wash with sulfate-free products, never comb when wet, and air-dry or use low heat. Clips are not suitable for a skin base.

Not ideal for: men chasing either extreme. For maximum invisibility, the Nano Skin (0.03 mm) is thinner still; for a longer replacement cycle, the Dura Skin (0.12 mm) trades a little translucency for a longer 6–8 month lifespan.
