Micro Skin MD

The Micro Skin MD is the Micro Skin with the volume turned up. It keeps the same ultra-soft 0.06 mm transparent poly base and knotless V-loop construction — so the part and hairline stay scalp-true — but carries a fuller 130% medium density for men who want real presence on top.

Best for: men whose natural hair was thick, or anyone who found standard density too light. The extra hair also gives your stylist material to thin, texturize, and shape into the way your hair used to fall.

Construction: V-looped hair throughout means each strand loops into the poly with no visible knot and nothing bleached. The system ships as an 8 × 10 in trim-to-fit base with 100% Indian human hair at 5 in (12.7 cm), a natural 30 mm body wave, and freestyle direction, so you can part left, right, or centre.

Hairline: the CC curved front contour blends predictably at the forehead, and the knotless roots keep the front clean at close range even at the fuller density.

Durability: expect 4–6 months of wear; many wearers rotate 2 to 3 units a year between styling and service appointments.

Maintenance: bond with tape or liquid adhesive on the smooth poly surface, wash once or twice a week with sulfate- and paraben-free products, never comb when wet, and let adhesives release fully before removal. Clips are not suitable for a skin base.

Not ideal for: men who wear their hair light or fine — at 130% the MD can read heavy against thin sides. The standard Micro Skin carries the same knotless base at a lighter 100% density that blends more easily with finer hair.
